Challenge: We have a prototype running at the outdoor test facility of the Radboud University. In late 2017, we installed a Lumiduct system at our first customer. The next step is to consolidate the knowledge gained during our first pilot and get our product ready for scale up. Therefore, we need to expand our team of engineers. Your task will be to improve our tracking/control software and electronics to a commercially viable and reliable product that can be used in large scale system implementations. Furthermore, new functionality needs to be added to both the software and hardware of the Lumiduct.
You have broad technical knowledge and a solid background in embedded software engineering. You have practical knowledge and experience with firmware and electronics. You are able to oversee and improve the full functionality of the system. You can code in C and C++. Knowledge of git, test-driven-development, and agile is desired. You have strong affinity with prototyping; swift realization and demonstration of practical solutions. Last but not least, you like to work in a demanding start-up environment and will do what it takes to get the job done.
